Welcome to the Department of Marketing, Supply Chain Management, and Analytics!  Our department offers some of the widest array of options for majors and minors on campus, enabling us to be among the most interesting, innovative, and successful departments. 

The strength of our department has led to increased job opportunities for graduates and stronger linkages with the business community.  Through a well-conceptualized program, an engaging learning environment, and a committed faculty team, the Department delivers a quality product.  We strive to prepare students that are creative problem-solvers, analytically-astute, ethically-attuned, globally-sensitive, and communication-adept.

Marketing.  We invite you to discover the breadth and depth of Marketing in the Mitchell College of Business.  Marketing is ubiquitous.  It is everywhere.  Every product, service, idea, individual, and organization will at some point embrace Marketing to ensure long-term success.  The Marketing curriculum prepares you to lead the exciting journey of creating and delivering value through customer-focused actions.  Our program prepares you to develop smart Marketing practices designed to facilitate profitable exchanges across a range of global opportunities.  Quantitative methods ensure that marketers and other business practitioners have the tools and techniques required to support smart decision making.  ; ; and .  If you are interested in joining our Professional Sales and Marketing Club, please click here for more information

Sales.  Sales is essential to business success.  Every entrepreneur needs to understand how to make sales, and every successful organization is already well-aware of the importance of sales.  Our Sales curriculum enables our students to develop the skills and abilities necessary to thrive in a competitive sales environment, as we instill students with an understanding of sales strategies, negotiation techniques, and relationship management.  We also place a strong focus on enhancing students’ persuasive communication skills, and we are confident that students within our Sales program will be able to effectively contribute to organizations immediately upon graduation.   .  Sales Minors for majors and non-majors are expected to be available in the very near future.   If you are interested in joining our Professional Sales and Marketing Club, please click here for more information

Supply Chain and Logistics Management.  A range of processes are required to get goods and services from vendors and to deliver finished products to customers worldwide.  Students within our Supply Chain and Logistics Management program learn the management of these activities, encompassing the coordination and collaboration with all channel partners namely suppliers, intermediaries, third party service providers, and customers.  This program allows students to enter a range of work roles, whether working in an office or observing the worldwide supply chain first-hand.  Students in this program may work in logistics, transportation, warehousing and distribution, purchasing/procurement, port management, supply management, demand management, and customer service.  Please click here to learn more about our Supply Chain and Logistics Management Major

International Business.  The business landscape is increasingly dominated by multinational corporations.  Having the capability to effectively work with people from different cultures is becoming more essential every day, whether working locally or globally.  Our International Business program equips students with the necessary tools to work within these multinational contexts – and beyond.  Specifically, we prepare students for management positions in companies that serve global markets. Students will learn how conducting business on a global scale differs from domestic operations and will develop sensitivity and understanding of cultural differences and business etiquette to allow them to effectively negotiate and conduct business in a variety of cultures.  .  International Business Minors for majors and non-majors are expected to be available in the very near future.  

Data Analytics.  Organizations are data driven.  No longer are business decisions made based on gut feelings, but they are instead being made from the collection and analysis of data.  For students to remain competitive in the modern business landscape, they must understand how to gather, analyze, and interpret quantitative data.  Equally important, they need to understand how to express to others the results of their analyses, such that their discoveries can lead to informed decisions.  For this reason, our Data Analytics program provides this skillset to students.  We teach students not only how to conduct their analyses, but we also provide ³ÉÈË¿ì²¥al opportunities on how to communicate complex insights based on sophisticated analyses.  .  A Data Analytics Major is expected to be available in the very near future.
