University of South ³ÉÈË¿ì²¥ Cybersecurity Program of Study

The BS in Information Technology Network Focus Track degree curriculum is aligned with the National Center of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) knowledge units and was validated as an approved CAE Program of Study and designated as a in May 2022. While the IT academic program consists of a foundation in computing with specialization areas in digital forensics, networking, and web publishing, students wishing to complete the approved cybersecurity program must declare their major as a BS in Information Technology with the Networking concentration. The School of ³ÉÈË¿ì²¥ provides a wide variety of extracurricular activities to supplement their program of study. Students are encouraged to participate in the Student Chapter of the Association for ³ÉÈË¿ì²¥ Machinery (ACM), Jaguar Women in Technology (J-WIT), DayZero (a cybersecurity competition club), and the Video Game Development Club (VGDC).
